Indian Head Massage is a technique of manipulating soft tissues in the upper back, upper arms, shoulders, neck, head and face.

I use a range of different massage pressures and rhythms to stimulate circulation and relaxation in these areas. This therapy fully oxygenates the cells of the body, stretches and mobilises the tissues and stimulates lymphatic drainage.

Indian Head Massage also revitalises circulation in the scalp which helps to improve texture, strength and growth of the hair; it relaxes the scalp and tones up subcutaneous muscles thus helping to relieve headaches and eye strain. The techniques used soothe, comfort and harmonise the body's natural balance and help to promote physical and psychological well being, leaving you with a feeling of peace and tranquility.

Indian Head Massage treatment takes 30-45 minutes (including free consultation). Clients may choose to remain fully clothed or to remove upper-body garments only and put on a towelling sarong-style robe to allow the therapist to make direct contact onto the skin of the upper back, upper arms, shoulders and neck.

Before treatment takes place a full consultation is conducted to check that there are no contra-indications, and to ensure that treatment is delivered in the most effective way for each client's unique requirements. Treatment takes place in a relaxing environment with soothing music. Therapy is delivered with the client seated upright on a hard-backed chair for the first part, then lying down on a therapist couch for maximum relaxation, safety and comfort during the concluding facial massage.
